Psychotherapy is a process that can open doors to a brighter future. While no one can guarantee results, Dr. Yomtoob works to create a safe environment where his clients can discuss real life issues and make life-enhancing decisions. He respects individual diversity and tailors his intervention to meet each person's needs based on his client's experiences, worldview, and values. At the same time, he challenges clients to examine and change familiar habits and thought patterns to make life better.

Dr. Yomtoob provides individual, group and family/couples therapy. Individual therapy is conducted one on one. People seek individual therapy for many reasons including:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self esteem
  • Drug and alcohol abuse
  • GLBT issues
  • Intimacy problems
  • Coping with trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Coping with stress
  • Anger management

Family and couples counseling incorporates members of your life such as spouses, partners, children, or parents. Family/Couples counseling can help resolve relationship problems by enhancing communication, learning new parenting skills, and helping cope with other family issues.

Group therapy allows people to examine interpersonal processes that lead to problems at home, work and in the community. Some groups focus on specific issues and provide collegial support. Some groups are on-going and others are time-limited. Dr. Yomtoob has led hundreds of hours of group therapy for various reasons including:
  • Men's issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Sexual identity
  • Building healthier relationships
  • Coping with chronic illness

Some insurance accepted. Sliding Scale Available.
